Preschool and Children’s Minister
First Baptist Church of El Paso, Texas, a downtown church focused on connecting people with the love and life of Jesus Christ, seeks to hire a Preschool and Children’s Minister. This position is a long-standing, full-time position within the church with the principal function of planning, promoting, and implementing ministry activities for preschoolers, children, and their families at First Baptist Church El Paso.

- Strong leadership and team building skill
- Commitment to a life-long process of Christian spiritual formation
- A desire to minister to children and their families
- The ability to build meaningful relationships with children, families, volunteers and staff that cultivates a meaningful relationship with Christ
- Organizational, managerial, and relational skills that will guide a children’s ministry into a ministry that draws people into the life of First Baptist Church El Paso
Additionally, we require someone with:
- At least 3-5 years of supervisory or management experience
- A Bachelor's degree from a 4-year college or university OR 3-5 years of related experience and/or training OR equivalent combination of education and experience
- A life and a character that displays an alignment with Christian values
