Sunday mornings are a great place for families to be involved with our whole church family through our worship services (9:00am and 11:15am) and through our many Sunday School Classes (10:10am) for all ages.
Middle school and high school students (6th–12th grade) meet in the Higher Ground (3rd floor) for food and hangout time before breaking out into their grade level Bible classes led by adult leaders who are trained to help students develop a firm foundation in the Truths of the Bible and challenge them to dig deeper throughout the week.
Throughout the year*, we offer a variety of trips, retreats, and other events that give our students an opportunity to get away from normal life to focus on God and develop their faith and their relationships with others.
*Typically, we have a Winter Retreat in January, DNow Weekend in March, Summer Camp in June, and a Mission Trip in July.
Each of our 5 LIFE Groups is open to all middle school and high school students. They are all the same in structure and in the topics they cover. Click on a location in the map for meeting day and time. Pick one that fits your schedule and get involved!
LIFE Groups offer a fun and supportive place for students to connect with others and learn how to apply the Bible to issues they face in daily life.
Led by our FBC adult leaders, LIFE Groups meet weekly* at various locations around the city at different times of the week, in order to accommodate the various schedule demands that our students and their families face.
Our LIFE Groups are open to all middle school and high school age students (6th–12th grade).
*LIFE Groups do not meet during the first week of each month. Students are encouraged to attend Sunday Night LIFE on the First Sunday of each month.
Sunday Night LIFE is a monthly gathering for all middle school and high school students (6th–12th grade) featuring food, fun activities, music, and interactive Bible-based messages and discussions.
Meeting on the first Sunday of each month* from 5:00–7:00pm in the Higher Ground at First Baptist Church, Sunday Night LIFE is a great place for new students to get connected with our ministry and learn about how to get involved in our weekly LIFE Groups and Sunday morning Bible study classes.
*Sunday Night LIFE does not meet in December or January.
IMPACT Events are monthly* opportunities for all middle school and high school students (6th–12th grade) to be involved in service projects or other activities that will help them make a difference in our community and see how they can be used to impact the world in real ways.
*IMPACT Events are general scheduled on Saturdays, but the schedule varies.
Through Youth for Christ El Paso (YFC) and the Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA), we sponsor campus ministries at El Paso High School and Wiggs Middle School, and we encourage all of our students to get involved with these clubs on their campuses.
For students looking for more focused Biblical learning and growth, we seek to partner them with an adult mentor for further help in learning how to love and live like Jesus!
FBC Youth is the youth ministry of First Baptist Church of El Paso. It's a place where middle school and high school students (6th–12 grade) can larn the Truth of the Bible, experience God at work in and through them, and choose to become lifelong followers of Jesus Christ.
