First Baptist Church wants to impact our community and the world, and make a lasting difference in your life.
Our mission is to lead people to become fully devoted followers of Christ. That's how we're able to make a difference, and it's the driving force behind everything we do.
Wherever you are in life, you matter and you have a purpose. We want to help you become the person God has created you to be. Your journey has a next step and we'll help you find it. It could start with serving, finding God's vision for your life, giving, or joining us regularly.
FBC offers many opportunities to grow spiritually with others who have the same passion for living a life that pleases the Lord and is wholly satisfying. From specialized small groups all the way to corporate worship and individual care, we have a place just for you.
Strong families are a priority at FBC. We want to team up with parents to help raise their children and teens to embrace God's perfect plan for their lives. We invest in your child's life through activities including MOPS, Upward Basketball and Cheerleading, children's and youth worship, and many more activities.
Our community and world
We are passionate about serving the global community and demonstrating God's love to others through local and global missions. FBC is passionate about missions, realizing that the Great Commission was a command given to all Christ followers.

Student Ministry Adult Team
In our current interim period of searching for a new minister to serve the Student Ministry, the Student Ministry Adult Team (SMAT) has stepped in to serve our youth. SMAT is made up of a group of adults who have established relationships with our Student Ministry. SMAT members often volunteer on Sunday mornings as Sunday School teachers and at Student Ministry events such as Disciple Now Weekend, camps, retreats, and recreational outings by coordinating refreshments, acting as sponsors, providing transportation, or taking on any number of other needs.
SMAT works to develop and implement fundraising activities and provide scholarships to enable students to participate in as many FBC Student Ministry activities as possible, in order that they may be presented with the Gospel and experience the love of Jesus Christ. These members act as a liaison to the Student Leadership Team, comprised of youth who serve as leaders—being present in their meetings and helping to facilitate their communications and ideas.
To learn more about this team or to get in touch with them, contact Dr. Bob Nickell, Executive Pasor of FBC, at firstname.lastname@example.org or (915) 342-7202.
